About us

We are one of the longest operating cruise clubs on The Bay. We hope you will consider joining us for wonderful fellowship.



Since 1993, we've provided our clients with world-class yachting, sailing, corporate and private event experiences. You can trust in our commitment to creating lasting memories for your next event, special celebration or one-day excursion. We take the work out of choosing your next event with our houghtfully-planned packages.


Yachts and yacht charters we offer are based on few simple principles that are synonymous with our company name for more than 30 years. They are: reliability, high quality, and customer support. Everyone in Yachtec (including me) is working towards client’s satisfaction.

2009-2011

The Yacht Club was founded in 2009 to serve both as a recreational yachting club and, as an unofficial private sailing and boating school.


The Club was established under the name the US Boat Club, but later on, it was renamed into a royal Ocean Yacht club at the beginning of the year 2011.

2011-2015

The Club’s first homes were on the city shore, but increasing industrialization drove the Club to the Islands in 2011. The first Island Clubhouse was destroyed by fire in 2011.


Its successor, officially opened in 2012. A gracious two-story Southern-style Clubhouse has been the best summer place for recreation ever since.

2015-2017

Today, we are one of the premier sailing and social clubs, with an emphasis on family participation, the development of our junior sailors, and a special attitude toward excellence in sailing.


Since the merger of the Yacht Club with the RCYC, the Club has operated year-round from two facilities: our summer home at the Island Clubhouse and our racquets- and fitness-oriented City Clubhouse in the downtown.
